I have recently found out that the Prattville Dragoons that I mentioned recieved their arms, sabres and Colt Navy .36 cal pistols, from those seized at Mt. Vernon Arsenal by the State of Alabama. Whether or not this "Boker" sabre is from that seizure and subsequent issue, or a later captured sabre, is unknown at this time.
