I recently picked up a Charleville percussion carbine musket at a gun show. I cannot find much info about it on-line, is there a good sight to check? Trying to find out what units used them and how they where carried as there are no sling swivels on it. Any info would be help-full. It is 69cal with a 29 1/2in barrel, it looks to have all the proper hardware on it. Thanks for any help.
