Uniforms of Palmetto Sharpshooters?

Hello,
Does anyone know what the "Palmetto Sharp-Shooters", S.C. Vols was? When it was formed in 1862 by Col. Micah Jenkins it was described as a "magnificant new regiment". I am sure that at that time of the war it was supplied a uniform by S.C. or private sources. I have heard it was a frock coat with white tape trim (silver for officers). I have a pic of an ancestor or someone that is in the white tape frock coat. I have also heard that their initial uniform had green trim. Does anyone know? Any info would be appreciated.
Sincerely,
