Frank, I'll send you a link to a site that will contain info on 150th anniversary reenactments and living history events. As soon as I can find it. There's not a lot on the page yet, but it will be good source for info as it's developed. And by the way, the 13th ammendment to the Constitution ended slavery. (after the war) Not the Emancipation Proclamation. The EA was just a political ploy by Lincoln to ramp up national spirit in favor of the war. As most people in the north were tired of the cost of the conflict both in dollars and lives.
