The 46th VA's flag is listed as captured at Appomattox CH, by a soldier in the 121 PA. We question this, and dont' wonder if the soldier took the flag after the surrender, and claimed to have 'captured' it in battle. Wouldnt be the first time something like that happened. At any rate, I've tried to research this unit's flags and have found nothing so far.
