Since only one unit flag is known to have survived from the four Wises Brigade Regiments, it would be difficult to assess a feasible guess what the others might have had. Especially since Ive yet to find an issue statement, record, reference, mention or any other surviving example to compare. Also that Wises Brigade was shoved far away from Virginia during most of 1863 when many other ANV issues were being disbursed. The 26th Va flag captured at Saylors Creek (WD-363) is one of the odd 12 star ANV issues that I had previously identified. That pattern is a late war individual replacement issue hense its good condition since it wasnt about a couple months old when taken. What they might have had previously and/or anything of the other regiments would be interesting to locate.
