I have a receipt dated September 11, 1861 for captured Union flags from Bull Run and Fairfax that lists these flags:

1) flag of the 69th Regt. NY on staff
2) flag of the 2nd Regt NY short staff
3) small flag on short staff
4) regimental Federal flag with cord and tassel
5) Federal scarf
6) flag abandoned at Fairfax and sent by a lady
7) flag captured by Corp. Dutart 2nd SCV (South Carolina Vols)
8) flag shot down at Fairfax CH
9) garrison flag and halliards of Light Co.
10) 1st Artillery in a bag
