The 9th Mississippi infantry regiment received the arms of the 14th Iowa (236 men) and the 18th Missouri (147 men). The 58th Illinois surrendered (379 men), 8th Iowa surrendered (379 men). The Crescent regiment (CSA) captured the fleeing 23rd Missouri (410 were captured). The 2nd Michigan Battery was captured by the 1st Mississippi Cavalry regiment, only LT. Colonel John H. Miller's battalion of the 1st Mississippi Cavalry regiment captured 56 men and 5 artillery pieces.
The 18th Wisconsin's flag was found in their camp, in the Colonel's tent. The Crescent regiment found a flag a Union Flag that had been tossed into a camp fire. This would have been on or very close to the 6th Iowa's campsite. The 18th Missouri and 18th Wisconsin lost their battle flags in "Spain Field". Either the 26th Alabama or regiments in that same brigade or near that brigade captured those flags. As you can see the 18th Missouri surrendered later in the day, but one or maybe both flags were captured at or around 8:30 AM. Either the 7th MS or 9th MS captured the 18th Wisconsin's flags, because they drove them off. (Source Page 155, "Shiloh" by Larry J. Daniel.)
There are many more Union flags that were captured, but still unknown.
