The latest North and South Magazine focuses on Holly Springs, I'm reading it but thus far no mention of captured flags though the 109th Illinois was captured almost to the man with the exception of Company K and thus every officer but the three in the said company were cashiered from service but in my research apparently no flags were ever issued to the regiment.
