A few year's ago went to Tredagar (Sp??) Iron Works Museum and they had a display of flag poles. They were all single piece and between 8' and 10' in length. I wrote down the lengths, but can't seem to find it right now. ALSO noted was the unit it was from. All were Confederate Units.
