Thanks for info on who 'owned' the poles. It was like 6 years ago, so don't recollect as to whose they were.
I was very surprised as to the 'roughness' of the poles. Many look hand hewned (Sp? home make like). Not 'finished' wood products.
Again, IF I remember many were from late in the war.
