Corp. Chester Bowen (1st NY Dragoons) - capture of a flag from Patton’s Brigade. - WD 181, Second National, Richmond Depot made

Corp. Gabriel Cole (5th Mich Cav) - capture of flag from 45th Va. - WD 196, a First National with fringe exterior

Sgt. Henry Fox (5th Mich Cav) - capture of flag from 60th Va. - WD 195, ANV Second Bunting with cross bayonet battle honors and other honors

Sgt. Andrew Lorish (1st NY Dragoons) - capture of an unidentified flag from Patton’s Brigade. - WD 203, Second National, probably Staunton Depot

Farrier George Meach (6th NY Cav) - capture of a flag from Wharton’s Division. - WD 200, ANV Third Bunting

Sgt. Patrick McEnroe (6th NY Cav) - capture of flag from 36th Va. - VA state flag, WD 198

Pvt. George Reynolds (9th NY Cav) - capture of a VA state flag from 22nd Va or 23rd Va Btn. - WD 176

Other flags taken at Winchester are also listed:

Lt. Robert Laughlin (9th WV) - capture of a Confederate battle flag. - This one I cannot find anything for.

Unknown (37th Mass) - capture of flag from 2nd Va. - ANV Third Bunting flag. WD listing has this as WD 197 taken by the 34th Wisconsin Vols. This must be a dual claim.

Unknown (49th Pa) - capture of Fitz Lee’s signal flag. - WD 202. Plain white flag with shadowing from a square central device (probably red)
