Well, after looking over Series 1, Vol 29. Col Edwards of the 5th Maine said on page 595 his regiment took these flags:

8th La---Lt. Lyon commanding Co.K
6th nc---James Littlefield Co.I
54th nc---Corpl T. Shackford Co.A
21st nc---Corpl Blondell Co.D (says 7th nc but they were not there)

Ellimaker's Brigade took:
1 flag (6th Maine--8th La)
4 Artillery and 550 Pows. (6th Maine took the 4 artillery guns)

121st new york took:
1 flag and the empty flag pole (9th La)

So my question is where are the 5th, 6th and 7th La flags???
Curious to what that other flag the 121st ny captured. It has got to be a La flag.
