Flag of CSS Nansemond

Background: Pvt. Morgan D. Lane is the only Civil War Signal Corps recipient of the Medal of Honor. The 1866 award was based upon his claim that he had taken the flag of the CSS gunboat "Nansemond" near Jetersville, Amelia County, VA, on 6 Apr 1865 and was promised "a gold medal." (Nansemond was an element of the James River Squadron, destroyed in the 2/3 Apr 65 evacuation of Richmond.) Capture of an enemy flag was usually the basis for a MOH. By producing his "capture," Lane's wartime commander certified him as a candidate for the MOH -- although the actual capture was apparently removal from the person of a captured Confederate sailor turned into an infantryman.

Neither site search nor "Colours of the Gray" indicates whether this flag is extant, and if so, where. Does anyone know?
