Does anyone know if the original "First National" flag that was presented to the Georgia Military Institute cadets by the ladies of Marietta in 1861;
still exists?

I'am interested in knowing because i have read that the cadets who were training officer's and N.C.O.'s at Camp Brown,Georgia; loaned their "First National" to the newly formed General William Phillips' Brigade (Camp Brown). The flag was given to the Cadets just weeks before by the ladies of Marietta . My 3rd Great-Grandfather is listed as "Color-Sergeant" in the "Paymaster Account" for the 4th Brigade Staff
