Men Surrendered at Tallahassee

Ladies and Gentlemen,

I have a soldier that was surrendered to Brigadier General E.M. McCook by Major General Sam Jones, C.S.A. at Tallahassee, Florida May 10, 1865 and paroled at Thomasville, Georgia May 18, 1865. He was not with his parent regiment at the time and I have reason to believe that he was wounded during the Atlanta Campaign and sent there. Were there General Hospitals there or what other units were present.

Thanks in advance for your assistance.

Respectfully,
