The Florida in the Civil War Message Board

I don't remember anyone working on that unit but someone else might. I'll check tonight. I had read post by Art Greene a long time ago and after Ivan, I posted on the Civil War Florida board about finding a lot of graves during the 'clean up' at the cemetery up the road and I was pretty sure a number of them were from the 15th Al. Some marked as Vets and some not. I did a search in the Sol n Sail list and sorted them out the best I could with the info I had. 3 of My GGGrands are buried there too. The one from the 8th Fl is one of them. Art sent me a message and I gave him the directions to the cemetery. We are trying to get that cemetery on the list of Historic Places now. It meets a number of the little requirments. I was very pleased when the book came into our holdings at the Gen section. I even found some of my Son in Laws ancestors from the Castleberry and Brewton area. Adding a book on Florida to our collection is going to be a real help. Thank you for doing that job. I'll let you know if I find more on Maj, Brown.
