I have read some posts about the Simpson Mounted Rangers being part of the 15th Confederate Calvary. I have also heard from my dad that Ezekiel Simpson formed and funded the Simpson Mounted Rangers, but I don't have anything official that states this. I know that information is somewhat sparse. I am hoping to contact Arthur Green to see if his book would be a good resource for this information. I am a direct descendant of Ezekiel and am trying to build onto information I have concerning his business endeavors.
