My maternal GGGrandparents plantation, Sewell, near Newnan, Ga. was visited by Sherman`s Army. Family Legend has it that the officer in charge observed that GGGrandfather Sewell was wearing a Masonic ring...held up a hand to show his own, called off his troops and left all unscathed! The home remained standing until around 1950 when it burned. I remember visiting there once as a young child. Yes, I would love to have a copy of this new book. Dianne K. Vranic
