Alan...I would also like to see the newspaper accounts of that battle, since my g-g-grandfather was in Co E, 3rd GA Reserves at that battle. Any other details you have about the battle I would appreciate it, since I am from Arkansas and have never heard anything about it before.

Also, what can you tell me about Fort Tyler? Is it part of that battle?
