Hello. The question is: If you lived at and around Macon, what group were you most likely to have joined?
Please understand that I am out of state and searching for a place to look for my great great grandfather who is only a shadow in the passing of time. His name was William Adams and he married a Mary Rodgers prior to the war.
His son, my great grandfather Joe B. was born in 1856 at Macon, Georgia.
I have tried this before without success, so I am approaching it from a little different way this time by asking for the groups first.
