Re: Macon, Georgia: What CSA Group was there?

Try this one:

Company “F”, 10th Confederate Cavalry of Bibb County, Georgia, the “Ocmulgee Rangers”.

Captain T. G. Holt. Formerly Captain of Company “A”, 19th Georgia Partisan Ranger Battalion. Nominated Major December 24, 1864, but no formal appointment made.
Captain W. W. Parker. Promoted Captain to rank December 24, 1864, but no formal appointment made. Surrendered at Hillsboro, North Carolina, May 3, 1865.

This company mustered under Captain R. R. Bearden at Macon, Georgia, July 24, 1862, and became Company “A” of the 19th Georgia Partisan Ranger Battalion.
