Actually the school I was speaking of was on the North side of SR92 a few miles East of Dallas, Georgia and perhaps a quarter mile West of where an airliner crashed several years ago. I wish that I had photographed the marker, as I have not been able to find it again. The community is now called "New Hope." There are several cemeteries on SR120, the Marietta-Dallas highway, but this is not the area to which I was referring.
