I just wanted to post the Civil War Records for
James Nathaniel Mitchum who was born in Morgan Co Ga on 11-29-1843 he died on 7-24-1919 in Canadian Co Ok but is buried in Oaklawn Cem in Wyneewood Garvin Co Ok

He died from injuries obtained in a Car/Taxi Accident for which his arm had to be amputated and he died from Gangreen due to these injuries

Transferred Company E, 53rd Infantry Regiment Georgia on 12 July 1864
Transferred in on 12 July 1864.

Anyone needing additional info on James Nathaniel Mitchum I have lots and would be glad to share

His father was named Murrell J Mitchum son of Nathaniel Mitchum and Jemima Reynolds from Lincoln Co NC and mother was Elizabeth Arnold daughter of James Bailey Arnold and Malinda Sparks. Malinda Sparks was daughter of Jeremiah Sparks and Mary Margaret Ragsdale

Would also like to correspond with family members of any mentioned above.
