Did this story state that Brig. Gen.Alfred H.Colquitt was killed? this was supposed to have happened after the Civil War? This is a Union sympathizer account of something written and not facts as we know them. In the post war years, General AH colquitt was Governor of Georgia and also a US Senator, in the post Recon.years, Also, a town in Georgia. He did not die until 1894 Apr.20.
