Dorough, Thomas Travis-Enlisted as a private in Co. A, 24th Regiment Ga. Inf. August 24, 1861. Discharged, disability, March 1862. Elected Captain of Co. H, 34th Regiment Ga. Inf. May 12, 1862; Major of the 34th Regiment Ga. Inf. May 17, 1862. Resigned, disability, February 1, 1863 . Elected Colonel of the 2d Battn. Ga. Militia Cavalry September 1, 1864 . Paroled at Augusta, Ga. May 19, 1865 . Died at Commerce, Ga. November l, 1877.

Company H, 34th Georgia Infantry was my Great Grandfather David A. Bray's Regiment.
