Catoosa Hospital....?

Catoosa Springs is a pre-war mineral springs resort located outside (west) of Ringgold, GA. and several miles to east of Chickamauga. It was on one of the roads from the Ringgold depot to the Chickamauga battlefield and saw much activity during that time and after Missionary Ridge. During the war it was occupied by either federal or confederate troops at any given time and, because of the readily available water, existing accomodations, open grounds, etc was always used for a hospital, or at least a site for troop R&R. The property is now owned by the Rollins family (ORKIN Termite Control, Rollins Security, et al) and is used as a gentleman's farm. Actual location is south of US Hwy 41 on Keith Road in a small community called Keith, GA. Still much evidence of military occupation (old trench lines on the hilltops, etc) and relic hunters with permission have done well. Graves have been found on and around the site.

However, many different hospitals were sited at Catoosa Springs. You won't be able to track it as Catoosa Hospital.
