I heard of the Battle of Narrows from my grand parents,actually my great grandmother whose father was around at that time. She passed on stories to me that he told her. The two main stories from the war was about the Battle of Narrows and when the Yankees burned down Prather Bridge on the Ga/SC border in which he was an eye witness.
