While going through some old family papers, I came across a newspaper clipping from 1908 about my great-grandfater, John L. Roe. In the clipping, it mentions that he was a private in company K, 19th Georgia infantry in Colquitt's brigade. It also said he was a member of UCV Camp No. 1101. This is all the information I have on his service. Being new to the subject, any help anyone could give me on how to proceed to find information on this unit, rosters, etc. would be appreciated.
