I have just recently became very interested in finding more info about my families history during the war. I have found one member, John Henry Rainey, 19th Georgia, whom I believe fought and is related. The roster offically lists him as J H Rainey from Bartow County, so I'm not sure exactly if its him.. The futherest I know back on my dads side for sure is Marcus Eugene Rainey who was my grandfather, died 1980 Bibb County, Georgia. If anyone can point me in the right direction, I'd be much obliged.
