Alan I am sorry that it has taken me this long to respond to your question requesting names of men paroled at Augusta. As Mr.Sturkey has mentioned several of the Hampton Legion were paroled there. There were also a few men of the 7th So. Car. Cav. that appear to have been with the Hampton Legion and were paroled there.

Last year I was going through the 20th So. Car. Inf. CSR for a friend and found several names from that unit that were listed as being paroled at Augusta. [As a side note: the 20th is not a unit that I normally research so I need to do a bit more digging around but....from my brief viewing of the CSR it appears that a couple of men that had died were granted a parole.]

I do not currently have any of the names available as I have moved and I am trying to sort out my "new" study. I am just wondering where the complete parole roll would have been stored and if it had ever been copied. James
