A. P. (Pink) McAlister, born in Troup County, Georgia, enlisted as a Private in Captain Waters B. Jones' Company (B)** May 6, 1862 at Savannah, killed in battle at Cold Harbor (near Richmond, Va) June 27th, 1862, his widow Narcissus M. McAlister filed claim for his pay, effects, etc. on February 6, 1863
**This company subsequently became Company B, 60th Regiment Georgia Infantry
