Re: Unknown Confederate dead now have names

Hello Judith, yes that would be a good idea however my research is now over two years old and currently in Georgia and I am in Kansas City,MO at the present time. I will try and remember some of them. Hardy J. Bullion of Company F of the 1st Arkansas Infantry. This soldier was of interest as his CMSR had him and some of his unit receive some Confederate medals for their valient action at Chickamauga. Why he was taken to the Hood hospital located in Cuthbert,GA is still somewhat of a mystery as his regimental hospital was located in Fort Gaines,GA some 30 to 40 miles away.

Turner of the 7th Florida Infantry should be another soldier. And Vincent Wilson of a Mississippi Infantry Regiment yet another. I believe Pvt. Wilson's unit was either the 10th or 20th Mississippi Infantry. He was the one who was listed in Dr. Stout's papers.

Going from memory these are all that I can remember at the current time. I will make an effort to talk to some folks in GA who know exactly what stones were ordered. Thx for pointing this out.
