I am a member of the SCV and have been for over ten years. One of my main interests as it pertains to the SCV is grave research. I try to stay abreast of the grave registry efforts, particlarly in the Georgia Division. I'm not sure which registration form you are referring to; the one on the National SCV site or the one on the Georgia Division site. I applaud any effort to record and document the graves of our Confederate ancestors and to take advantage of the organized efforts to do so. However, potential submitters to either of these sites should be aware that they may not see the results of their submissions for some time. The registry on the National SCV site has been "under construction" for several years. The registry for the Georgia Division has been online in a static state for almost a year now. I'm not trying to discourage anyone from submitting to either of these sites, just be aware of the current status.
