Hi Dennis,

Your ancestor Jesse M Lord private October 9, 1863. 4th Inf Rgmt, Co C. Wounded at Wilderness, Va. May 5, 1864. Paroled at Augusta, Ga. May 25, 1865.

WorldConnect db= trglc5 says "died in civil war". If true he must have died in 1865.

I have that his parents were James Ethelred and Malonda Sanders Lord.

I'm investigating family relationships among the members of four Twiggs County Volunteer Infantry Regiments, the 4th GVI Co C, the 6th GVI Co I, the 26th GVI Co E, and the 48th GVI Co G. I would like to have whatever additional information is available on his family, if you would be so kind.

If you would like to see what other information I have on these units, write me at Jack_Poynter@att.net or reply to this message.

My gg-grandfather John Barrett Everett b. 30 May 1827 d. 7 Oct 1889 Private May 7, 1862, 6th Ga Inf Rgmt, Co I. Wounded at Petersburg, Va. July 30, 1864. Lost a leg at the Crater.

Deo Vindice!

JP
