Byrd, 1897) which contains a muster-roll of Company K. I would gladly share information on soldiers and maps of the 38th at Gettysburg. I show the 38th on the left of the brigade on the first day of Gettysburg, resting on the Harrisburg road, where they would have passed the Josiah Benner residence and the County Almshouse buildings during their advance toward the town.
