I have an ambrotype of Beverly Daniels Evans in his 2nd Lt. uniform from his time with Company E of Ramsey's 1st Georgia. It's not in the best condition but I also have a copy of portrait that must have been painted from the ambrotype. After his enlistment in Ramsey's ended, he did some civilian work for the confederacy and became a Captain in the 13th Georgia Militia. He later became Lt. Col of the 2nd Georgia State Line Troops. He lead them at the battle of Griswoldville where he was wounded. After the war, he returned to the practice of law. He passed in 1897 and is buried in Sandersville, Ga.
