The record which seems to produce questions has a copyist error. The record for both Youngbloods come from a report dated Mar 30, 1864, which included many names. The copyist wrote Nov 30, 1864. If taken literally, that's eight months in the future. The year should be 1863 as shown in the other record. Both men departed under surgeon's orders on the November 1863 dates shown. They had not returned to duty as of the report date, Mar 30, 1864.

Date of enlistment probably should be Jun 1, 1863, not Jan 1, 1864. Otherwise this man could not be listed as going home Nov 30, 186[3].

Calhoun Station can be found on the New Orleans and Jackson RR near Jackson MS. It is mentioned several time during the Vicksburg Campaign.
