If i had your email i would gladly send you the copies of the pension application i found online at the georgia's virtual vault website. It literally has tons of pension applications and other records. It appears to be the name of Ruebin Thorton , the witness on the application. He states that both he and Henry Z (Zachariah) Day enlisted in 1861 Cumming which is the county seat of Forsyth County Georgia. One page states Co A/H (hard to read) 2nd Regt Georgia Volunteers, other states Georgia Infantry in which infantry was crossd out and state guards scribbled in as if a mistake was made, and the third states Georgia state Guards. It was filed in 1901 county of Gwinnett. States he was born 1835, i have another person looking for more information on him say's he was from the Forsyth county area. Other than this information i have given the only other Henry Z Day i can find who lived in Forsyth county Ga was the son of Andrew L Day and Rebecca Key and he was born around 1847/48 Forsyth County Ga.
