Re: Former Georgia Confederates in Ohio Pen.

George, I don't have an issue with you having the article. There are two ways we could do this however the 1st way you need to act fast upon because I will not be around a scanner anytime in the near future after this coming Monday.
1) Send me your email address and I'll scan the article to you. Having said that it is rather a large article and I did not copy everything as only the Confederates caught my eye.
2) Your best avenue in my opinion is to contact the downtown Columbus, Ohio Public library and tell them the name of the newspaper which in this case is the "Ohio State Journal" and you will need to know the year which was 1897 and the exact day and month of the article and the title of the article you request. I will have to find the article as it's with hundreds of other papers at present. However I don't think there will be a problem with finding it again. Once you have all the information you can call the library and they will send it to you via email. There is no charge for the service. They may want to know what columns you request and I think it would be the first three columns. Doing it this way you could have the entire article and doing it the 1st way you could have the information but not the whole article.
Let me know what you decide as quickly as possible so that we can get you that article. Thx Dennis
