Henry dixon was the name I was givien but can fins anything that puts him with the 3rd georgia infantry.He ran into a house to save a woman and child but before he made it to the house a shell hit it striking the woman in the face.He save the child but the woman was dead.The woman had a locket around her neck with a picture of the her and him in it,but at the time he didn't know who it was because the shell had hit her in the face.Years go by and he finds out that the woman was his wife and the child is his daughter.That is the story that has been told about him.I was told that he was in the 3rd georgia by a local historian.
