descendants reunion Friday, a week ago.
He has written a number of books re the Vicksburg campaign and may well have the information at his
fingertips for which you wish.
In his office files, he has documents related to most all units which served at Vicksburg. Twenty-five years
ago I found a diary of a soldier of the 43rd. There may be pertinent documents for which you seek.
