Folks I am looking for any records out there on a Father and Son who served with 2 GA Units. The Father Matthew Grigg Thompson served as a Chaplin with the 46th GA Inf Reg from what I have been told, and his son Maurice Thompson served as a Scout with the 63 GA Inf Reg. I am trying to obtain markers for their grave sites in Crawfordsville IN. Any help you can provide would be greatly appreciated...could not locate either of them in the NPS Soldiers & Sailors System.
