You may already know about this site but as far as the grave sites I use www.findagrave.com. You can input a request and they will send it to someone who lives in that area...that person will find the grave and make photos for you. I am a contact for Acworth, GA which is in the middle of Allatoona Pass, Coopers Furnace, Etowah, Dallas, New Hope, Pickett's Mill, Kennesaw Mtn, Kingston (where the General had to park on a "Y" track for hours when it was stolen), Brushy Mtn Line (Lost Mountain), Dalton, Kolb Farm, Marietta, Cartersville, Adairsville, and many more Civil War Battle fields that were on the path to Atlanta. It is a very interesting and informative site. If you already know about this site maybe this will be some good info for others.
