Ms. Colbert,

I recommend you make notes on who you talked and when and the more detailed the better so you will have the notes for being interviewed by officials.

You will have to look at the County Deed book for the property but if the property was a family cemetery and it was on the original land then it would still be part of the property.

The Sons of Confederate Veterans Camp there is the Captain Matthew T. Nunnually Camp, Camp #1671.

Is the grave old enough? You would have to ask the State Archeologist.

Again, write you stuff down in detail. Like all good genealogical, historical, and detective work, it will allow you to paint a picture and see inconsistencies in stories and also provide authorities a starting point.
