Re: Cabin Creek Monument Dedication To 1st Kansas

Hey Ken, saddle up and get prepared. Mr. DeMoss has convinced a young lady out at the Creek Nation to propose the Nation get involved in proving the Battle of Round Mountain's location to be where it belongs. That is what he called Patti about, asking my phone number. He came by the office today we had a good talk.

As I told the gal at the Tribe (Joyce Bear), the first thing we need to set in stone is the date Opoethleyahola left North Fork/Eufaula. We have a time line in the OR's with Cooper. So we need to try to affix his travel at 4 miles per day or 6 miles per day. I don't think they could travel any faster than that. I'll get back with you.

We also can prove using the mile per day formula on proving Pawnee can't be the place simply by going from the Camp on Brown's Creek. That means we need to know how many days they were ahead of Cooper.

Anyone wishing to contribute is welcome, the door is cracked open to bring Round Mountain home, lets swing it wide open!!!

For those who don't know Robert DeMoss, he wrote State of Thieves and one or two other books.
