Descendants of Chief William McIntosh

Stephen B. McCartney,
.
Yes, my friend, Chinnubbie McIntosh of Sapulpa OK, sent via snail mail photos and a map when we were working on this wonderful article. You may know that Chinnubbie's son, Kenneth Wale McIntosh, wrote CRAZY SNAKE.
.
Charles Steger of Atlanta TX, who researched this article, suggested that we contact Billie Jane McIntosh of Flagstaff AZ before going to press, so it seemed that we involved the whole clan. I must quickly state that I first met Charles Steger at a reenactment on the Honey Springs Battlefield a couple of years ago. Then two weeks ago, I saw Charles again at our Texas State Genealogical Society convention.
.
Charles's article illustrates the familial ties of the Creek Indians of the Georgia, the Creek Indians of the Tulsa area, and the Creek Indians of East Texas that is sometimes hard to trace.
.
I found it interesting that Optheyahola (Union) and her half-brother, Chilly McIntosh, (Confederate), visited Rebecca McIntosh Hawkins Hagerty in Texas.
