There has been extensive discussion on these message boards about the attack on the Wichita Agency and the subsequent Tonkawa Massacre. Most of these have been archived. The best sources we located were the afore mentioned article in the Chronicles of Oklahoma on Horace P. Jones, a letter in the Pratt Papers (see http://history-sites.com/cgi-bin/bbs53x/itcwmb/arch_config.pl?read=2165 ), and a letter in the appendix of one of Annie Abel's books (see http://history-sites.com/cgi-bin/bbs53x/itcwmb/arch_config.pl?read=2151 ).

As I recall, Tom Blanchard has done a considerable amount of research on the events and I believe Patti Rochette has added most, if not all, to her book.
