I know you know what I'm going to ask! Was this the site of Gov Winchester Colbert's home in Feb 1864 (or one of his homes) when Col Wm Phillips wrote to him and said something like "I visited your house but you weren't there...".

This is just southwest of Cochran's on Middle Boggy which is my best guess for the location of the Battle of Middle Boggy.
