Anyone know where and why they were on Grand River which is entirely within the Cherokee Nation? This was three weeks after the 1st Indian Expedition returned toward Kansas followed by the IHG. They were apparently near the Arkansas so they would be in the vicinity of Ft Gibson and Ft Davis. I assume the stores were at Ft Davis.
